Ronnie Drew’s handprints to go on display outside Gaiety
22/08/2006 - 07:19:49Dubliners frontman Ronnie Drew is to be honoured by the Gaiety Theatre today for his contribution to the world of folk music.
A bronze cast of the singer's handprints will be unveiled on the plaza outside the venue in Dublin city centre.
Drew joins other stage luminaries such as Maureen Potter, John B Keane and Luciano Pavarotti who also have their handprints displayed outside the theatre.
