Eleven charged in relation to alleged air terror plot
21/08/2006 - 16:33:08Eleven suspects arrested in relation to the alleged airliner bomb plot have been charged, Britain’s Crown Prosecution Service announced today.
Eleven others are still in custody and a woman has been released, the CPS said.
Two of the suspects have been charged with failing to disclose information and a 17-year-old stands accused of possession of articles useful to a person preparing acts of terrorism.
Deputy Assistant Commissioner Peter Clarke revealed that bomb making equipment, including chemicals and electrical components had been found during police searches.
