Eleven charged in relation to alleged air terror plot

Eleven suspects arrested in relation to the alleged airliner bomb plot have been charged, Britain’s Crown Prosecution Service announced today.

Eleven others are still in custody and a woman has been released, the CPS said.

Two of the suspects have been charged with failing to disclose information and a 17-year-old stands accused of possession of articles useful to a person preparing acts of terrorism.

Deputy Assistant Commissioner Peter Clarke revealed that bomb making equipment, including chemicals and electrical components had been found during police searches.
