Short blow for Blades
21/08/2006 - 14:26:39Veteran centre-back Craig Short is out of Sheffield United’s Barclays Premiership clash against Tottenham at White Hart Lane tomorrow.
Short was a late withdrawal from the squad for Saturday’s opening 1-1 draw with Liverpool at Bramall Lane after tearing fibres in his thigh and has failed to recover.
Manager Neil Warnock has named a 20-man squad for the game, with Ian Bennett, Alan Quinn, Nick Montgomery and Rob Kozluk the additions from the 16 on duty against Liverpool.
