McHugh handed Connacht vice-captaincy
21/08/2006 - 11:24:13Versatile back Mark McHugh has been named vice-captain for Connacht forn the season 2006/2007.
Twenty-eight-year-old McHugh McHugh will provide support for newly appointed captain John Fogarty.
"It is a huge honour to be asked to be vice-captain and I am looking forward to the challenge it will bring. This is a big season for Connacht," said McHugh.
"I have really enjoyed my rugby in the past few years despite a couple of bad injuries, but we are all looking forward to the start of the season."
