Leaving Cert students to receive college offers today
21/08/2006 - 07:07:37Leaving Cert students across the country are set to find out this morning if they have secured the college place of their choice.
Almost 45,000 applicants are due to receive their CAO offers, with 75% expected to secure one of their top three choices.
The number of points required for a large number of courses has dropped significantly this year, with the exception of medical-related courses.
Prospective students can check their offers online at www.cao.ie this morning or can wait until tomorrow, when the first postal offers are due to arrive.
