Thomas heads international field

20/08/2006 - 12:03:48
Dylan Thomas heads a list of eight horses declared for Tuesday’s Juddmonte International Stakes – the feature event on the opening day of York’s Ebor meeting.

Aidan O’Brien’s exciting three-year-old was an impressive winner of the Irish Derby and will be Ireland’s sole representative in the extended mile-and-a-quarter Group One event.

Godolphin’s Cherry Mix will aim to follow up a recent top level victory in Germany, while Prix d’Ispahan hero Laverock is all set to represent Carlos Laffon-Parias.

Willie Muir’s consistent four-year-old Enforcer takes his chance along with the Sir Michael Stoute-trained pair Maraahel and Notnowcato.

Blue Monday and Snoqualmie Boy complete the line-up.
