Full service resumes at Heathrow for first time in over a week
19/08/2006 - 21:04:40There are encouraging signs for anyone jetting off on holiday soon who has to transfer in London.
A full service has operated at Heathrow today for the first time since the new anti-terror security was brought in.
One-thousand-two-hundred flights carried passengers in and out of the airport today.
It was a similar situation at Gatwick.
Meanwhile, passengers flying transatlantic from Dublin are again able to buy alcohol and perfume.
Purchases are being sealed in a bag, which is then given to the passengers when they produce the receipt closer to the boarding gate.
