Knowles refuses to remake raunchy video
Beyonce Knowles has defended her racy new De Ja Vu video amid a fan campaign to have her reshoot the steamy promo.
Fans are unhappy with the video, shot on location in Louisiana, because it features the sweating diva in provocative scenes with her real-life boyfriend, rap mogul Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter.
Conservative fans swamped the internet with concerns after they were outraged by one scene in which Beyonce crouches down by Jay-Z and fondles his belt.
They claim the clip has sexual overtones.
However Knowles admits she's both amused and puzzled by the reaction the new video has caused - and she won't be changing a thing.
She says: "I'm an adult and I can only be responsible for myself but I thought it (video) was great."
Nonetheless she has been hurt by some of the criticism levelled at her: "I'm a human being; I like for people to like what I do but I can't please everyone. You've gotta just set priorities."
