Leaving Cert students urged not to overdo celebrations
16/08/2006 - 11:55:47Leaving Cert students are being urged not to overdo their celebrations and consume too much alcohol today.
Party-goers are being advised to stick together, stay out of trouble and organise a lift home in advance.
The message comes from the Mature Enjoyment Alcohol in Society group, a drinks industry body set up to promote the responsible consumption of alcohol.
Spokesperson Fionuala Sheehan is warning teenagers that they could ruin their night out by drinking too much.
