Fire brigade badly damaged in north Dublin attack

The Dublin Fire Brigade says one of its fire engines has been put out of service following an attack in the Ballymun area last night.

Rocks were thrown at the vehicle and a number of windows were broken while firefighters were tackling a blaze at a builder's yard in the north Dublin suburb.

No firefighters were injured in the attack.
