Dempsey launches trial of terrestrial digital TV service
16/08/2006 - 11:13:17Ireland's first trial of terrestrial digital TV is being launched by Minister for Communications Noel Dempsey today.
At present, digital services are only available via cable, satellite and MMDS.
The new trial, which is due to run for two years, will see digital television being broadcast via terrestrial transmitters.
