€60m wind farm opened near Kilgarvan
15/08/2006 - 12:02:10A new wind farm has been officially opened near the village of Kilgarvan in Co Kerry.
The €60m development will supply electricity to 30,000 homes.
The wind farm will save an estimated 130,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions every year.
