Dublin Port reports 7% increase in business
15/08/2006 - 11:03:29Dublin Port has reported a 7% increase in the amount of goods passing through its facilities last year.
In its latest annual report, the company says a record 26 million tonnes of goods passed through the port in 2005.
It also says turnover was up 4% to €62m during the year.
Despite the positive results, the Dublin Port Company says its limited capacity could hamper future success as it already handles two thirds of containers coming into Ireland.
