Dublin gardaí probe stabbing, shooting and arson attack
Gardaí in Dublin have arrested two men following a stabbing incident in the city centre in the early hours of the morning.
The victim was found lying near the Ha'penny Bridge at around 2.30am with several stab wounds to his side which gardaí believe were inflicted with a broken bottle.
He was taken to the Mater Hospital, where his condition is described as stable.
Meanwhile, gardaí are also investigating an overnight shooting in north Dublin and an arson attack in the south of the city.
At least six shots were fired into a parked car outside a house on Marigold Crescent in Darndale just before 11pm, while a car was set alight and pushed into the forecourt of a garage in Ringsend shortly before 3.30am.
The blaze caused damage to the car-wash machine at the garage, but nobody was injured.
