Three ex-Dublin City players sign for Waterford United
13/08/2006 - 14:44:14Waterford United manager Gareth Cronin has snapped up three former Dublin City players to boost his squad for the end of the campaign.
Cronin, who was Dublin assistant boss before they went bankrupt, has snapped up Robbie Hedderman, Alan Keely and Ger McCarty from his former club and all three are likely to start next week’s clash with Drogheda United.
“I needed to bring in players to the team and with the transfer window closed my options were limited,” said Cronin. “I have managed to sign three quality players and I have no doubt that they will play a major part for Waterford United for the rest of the season.”
