US raises threat level in response to British plot
10/08/2006 - 08:09:37The US government raised its threat level to the highest level for commercial flights from Britain to the United States early today in response to a reported terror plot in the UK.
It also stepped up the general level for all flights within the US or entering the country from elsewhere.
