ISEQ loses 114 as Ryanair slumps

The ISEQ fell 114.76 points this morning, following losses from most of the big names.

Ryanair lost 27c (3.6%) to €7.29, following this morning’s terror alert at London’s Heathrow Airport. The airline was the morning’s busiest share.

C&C fell 21c (2.4%) to €8.51.

CRH was down 60c (2.3%) at €25.40, while Kingspan slipped 26c (1.9%) to €13.56.

Bank of Ireland fell 29c (2%) to €14.16. Allied Irish Bank was down 34c (1.7%) at €19.51.

Irish Life and Permanent slipped 15c to €19.30, while Anglo Irish Bank was down 7c at €11.53.

FBD lost 45c (1.2%) to €38.00.

Elan fell 20c (1.7%) to €11.33.

Paddy Power was down 22c (1.6%) at €13.50.

DCC gained 20c (1.1%) to €18.90.

Horizon Technologies was unchanged at €0.84. The company will release H1 results on September 14.
