Naughton named in Cork U21 side
Fresh from his match-winning exploits at Croke Park on Sunday, Cathal Naughton will be hoping to help the Cork Under-21 hurlers retain their Munster title tomorrow night.
The Newtownshandrum ace has been named in the Rebels' line-up for the Semple Stadium duel with Tipperary (throw-in 7.15pm), resuming his midfield partnership with Douglas clubman Mark Harrington.
In Cork's 3-17 to 2-12 semi-final win over Waterford, Harrington was one of the leading lights, alongside full-back Eoin Dillon and pacy corner forward Brendan Barry, who shot 2-4 against the Deise.
The team shows two changes from the Waterford game, with senior panellist Shane O'Neill replacing Aidan Ryan at centre back and Kevin Canty making way for James Bowles in attack.
A positional switch sees Patrick Cronin moving to left half-forward with Bowles, the second Newtownshandrum player involved, listed at full-forward.
Cork are gunning for their 18th Munster U-21 title, as are Tipp.
