08/08/2006 - 07:49:50The Wind that Shakes the Barley has smashed all Irish film records at box offices across the country.
The Ken Loach film, which won the Palme d'Or at Cannes earlier this year, has so far taken in €2.7m at Irish cinemas.
The War of Independence movie grossed €377,000 in its opening weekend, breaking previous records held by Irish comedies Intermission and Man About Dog.
