ISEQ off to bright start
08/08/2006 - 11:10:17The financials and Elan boosted the ISEQ index of shares this morning as it rose 46.79 to 7668.05 in early trading.
Pharmaceutical giant Elan was up 51c to €11.84.
Meanwhile, Bank of Ireland led the charge in a positive morning for the financials as it rose 16c to €14.26. Anglo Irish was up 7c to €11.58, AIB gained 5c to €19.72, while Irish Life & Permanent was unchanged €18.85.
Tullow Oil was the biggest loser this morning, down 16c to €5.83.
