Woodie's opens 25th Irish store
03/08/2006 - 08:08:49Woodie's DIY has opened its 25th Irish store in Nenagh, Co Tipperary, the company's second outlet in the town.
Woodie's boss Ray Coleman said their in-store research "demonstrates that the good weather has certainly given consumers that summer feeling" and that they have been buying up products geared towards outdoor entertaining.
"We have seen sales pick up across all of our summer lines and we are confident that leisure and garden sales will be up 15 to 20% on the same period last year," said Mr Coleman.
