McInerney acquires UK business
03/08/2006 - 10:54:24McInerney Holdings plc today announced it has acquired UK based Bowey Homes Holdings Limited, a regional home builder in the north east of England for €34.52m.
Based in Gateshead, Bowey operates in the Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham, Consett and Northumberland areas. It specialises in developing a mix of brownfield and greenfield sites.
McInerney managing director Barry O'Connor said: “This acquisition is an acceleration of our UK expansion plans. It significantly increases our area of operation in the North East of England."
