Elizabeth Hurley has backtracked on her recent dismissal of wedding rumours - insisting the big day is "very close", and she and tycoon lover Arun Nayar are already planning a family together.

The actress, 41, finally spoke out about the pending nuptials in an interview with Vanity Fair magazine - despite having previously rubbished speculation as "fiction".

She says: "I cannot reveal to you the exact date but it is very close. We are even thinking of having a child."
