Man killed by train
31/07/2006 - 18:35:58A man was killed today after being struck by a train near the border of Cork and Kerry.
The railway line had to be closed between Millstreet, Co Cork, and Rathmore, Co Kerry, for a time after the incident at 4.25pm.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene.
The dead man was not formally identified but is believed to be in his thirties.
