B&B sector needs new workers, says survey

A survey carried out by the Town and Country Homes Association (TCHA) has found that more young people are needed in the industry if its to remain successful.

Association members generate an estimated €36m for the Irish economy.

Now industry chiefs are worried that the sector will suffer over the next five years as many of their members are nearing retirement age.

According to TCHA chief executive Alan Hill, a definite plan of action is needed for the next few years.
