28/07/2006 - 15:37:05
An Israeli bomb has landed close to an aid convoy in Lebanon, injuring three people.

Some foreign and local journalists were on board but it's not thought they're hurt.

Fierce fighting continues on day seventeen of the war between Israel and Hizbollah.

It's feared the UN could be forced to pull out.

British Prime Minister Tony Blair has flown to Washington in an effort to get agreement on what to do about the situation.

He's holding talks with President Bush.

Speaking today, the US President said: “Now is the time for the world to confront this danger. We care deeply about the loss of life and are troubled by the destruction that's taking place in Lebanon.”
