'Substantial number of bids' received for sale of hotel group
28/07/2006 - 18:03:27Great Southern Hotels says a substantial number of bids have been received for the proposed sale of the group by Dublin Airport Authority.
The deadline for receipt of tenders expired earlier today.
A spokesman says a decision is expected to take five weeks.
It's understood Irish and international bidders have expressed an interest in the eight-strong chain of hotels valued at a €170m.
