Quinn set to unveil himself as new Sunderland manager
25/07/2006 - 09:57:37Former Irish international Niall Quinn is set to unveil himself as the new Sunderland manager later this morning.
Quinn confirmed the move last night following Sunderland's 2-0 win in last night's friendly tie with Shelbourne at Tolka Park.
The former Sunderland and Ireland striker is currently in the process of buying the Championship side and has decided to appoint himself as manager following his failure to persuade Martin O'Neill and Sam Allardyce to take on the job.
