Lebanese children to be reunited with father in Kilkenny
25/07/2006 - 08:00:09Two Lebanese children whose father lives in Kilkenny are on their way to Ireland after being evacuated from their homeland.
Seven-year-old Ali Zebads and his five-year-old sister Gadir live with their mother in the Lebanese city of Tyre.
Their father, Manir Zebads, is a refugee from Sierra Leone who has been living in Ireland for three years.
He has been trying to get his children out of Lebanon since the current conflict erupted two weeks ago and they are expected to arrive in Ireland tomorrow.
