Belfast school severely damaged in overnight arson attack

Police in the North are investigating a suspected arson attack on a Catholic school in north Belfast overnight.

The sports hall at St Mary's Primary School in Greencastle was severely damaged in the blaze, which took two hours to bring under control.

The PSNI says it is treating the fire, which was spotted at around 1.30am, as malicious.
