Depp movie breaks another box office record
25/07/2006 - 15:30:16Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest has broken the $300m (£237.76m) barrier at the US box office quicker than any other movie.
The sequel, which stars Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom, has taken a staggering $321.7m (€255m) after a mere three weeks on release.
Dead Man's Chest has already earned more at the box-office than its predecessor managed in six months. It remains at the top of the US box office, taking $35m (€27.74m) over the weekend.
