Competition Authority to investigate acquisition by Kingspan
25/07/2006 - 17:11:32The Competition Authority today announced that it has decided to carry out a full investigation in relation top the proposed acquisition of Leanort Group by Kingspan Group plc.
The Authority is required under legislation to determine whether the result of the proposed acquisition will “substantially lessen competition” in markets.
A final decision on the transaction will be made before Thursday, October 26.
