Kylie comeback tickets sell out in an hour
24/07/2006 - 13:31:44Kylie Minogue's comeback concerts in the UK have sold out within an hour, forcing organisers to lay on four extra gigs to satisfy the Australian pop singer's fans.
The January 2 and 3 gigs at the 11,000-capacity Wembley Arena in London are her first in Britain since she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
The shows proved so popular the promoters added extra dates on January 5 and 6. Wembley's computer system then crashed under the strain of fans ordering tickets. Two further shows were then added on January 8 and 9 and tickets were soon snapped up.
Her agent said they were the fastest selling shows he had ever experienced.
