Grey's Anatomy wins top US critics award
24/07/2006 - 13:43:47Hospital drama Grey's Anatomy has been named best programme at America's Television Critics Association awards.
The US version of The Office received two trophies - best comedy and best person in a comedy for Steve Carell.
British actor Hugh Laurie won the prize for best individual in a drama for his role in medical series House.
The acclaimed White House drama The West Wing, which ended earlier this year, received the association's heritage award, which "recognises a long-standing programme that has had a lasting cultural or social impact".
