Corradi keen on City switch
Former Italy striker Bernardo Corradi has spoken of his excitement at the prospect of joining Manchester City and hopes a deal can be finalised in the near future.
Corradi has been given permission to talk to the Barclays Premiership outfit by his current club Valencia.
He told the club’s official website www.mcfc.co.uk: “I hope to bring all my enthusiasm to Manchester City and I want to show everyone that I want to work hard now and during the season with my team-mates. I want to do well here.”
The 30-year-old, who bagged 10 Serie A goals last term while on loan at Parma, has now flown back to Italy but is hoping a deal can be agreed to make him a City player next week.
“I hope to have the possibility to work well with my team. As I striker I will work hard and help the team to make a lot of goals,” he added.
“At the end the important thing is the team – and by working together as one the team will end in a good position.”
