Garda arrested in connection with alleged sexual assault
20/07/2006 - 17:05:37A garda has been arrested and is being questioned about an alleged sexual assault.
The Garda press office has confirmed that he is being detained at Bantry garda station and is a serving member in the Southern Region.
He is being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act and can be detained for up to 12 hours.
