Duff back at Blues
17/07/2006 - 15:45:28Chelsea winger Damien Duff returned for pre-season training today as speculation over his future intensified.
Duff is reportedly close to completing an £11m (€16m) move to Tottenham but the Republic of Ireland international reported for Blues duty on the first day back after the summer break.
The 27-year-old was joined at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground by new signings Salomon Kalou and Hilario.
Duff, Carlo Cudicini, Shaun Wright-Phillips, Geremi and Lassana Diarra were also involved in today’s sessions.
Chelsea’s World Cup stars are expected to begin pre-season training over the next two weeks.
