Five hurt in three shooting incidents in Dublin
Five people are recovering this morning after they were injured in three separate shooting incidents in Dublin.
Two of the victims were shot when the pillion passenger on a motorcycle opened fire at the occupants of a car stopped in traffic on the Old Bawn Road in Tallaght just after 6.30pm yesterday evening.
Both were taken to hospital, but one was discharged a short time later.
Elsewhere, a 17-year-old girl is also in hospital after she sustained pellet wounds to her leg during another shooting at Green Fort Crescent in Clondalkin just after midnight.
In Finglas, meanwhile, a man and a woman were both taken to hospital after they were shot at a house on Finglas Wood Road at around 7.30am today.
None of the injuries sustained in the three shootings is believed to be life-threatening.
