A bus crashed into a bridge pillar on a highway north of the Czech Republic’s capital Prague today, killing six people and seriously injuring at least two others, an official said.

Five people were killed on the spot and one died later in a hospital, medical emergency service spokeswoman Tereza Janeckova said.
