Yes; it's a turkey.
The return of the Man from Krypton fails to revive memories of the late great Christopher Reeves and ends up being a massive disappointment.
It lacks the wit and dash of the previous Superman films and, alas, newcomer Routh, while looking not unlike Reeves, just doesn't cut it as our hero. Nor does Bosworth as Lois Lane.
The only success is Spacey as the returning Lex Luthor, the rest of the cast in a film that never truly captures the thrills of its forerunners merely fill in spaces.
