Bohs sell Grant to Drogs

11/07/2006 - 10:39:04
Bohemians sold Tony Grant to Drogheda United yesterday evening for an undisclosed fee with Mark Leech moving in the opposite direction on loan – and John Paul Kelly may soon be on his way to Norwegian side Lillestrom.

Grant moved to United Park in what he described as a “dream move” and will compete with Glen Fitzpatrick, Eamon Zayed and Shane Barrett for a place in attack.

Drogheda’s Setanta Cup final hero Leech has moved in Dalymount Park on loan for the rest of the season though manager Gareth Farrelly remains interested in adding another striker to his squad with Shelbourne’s Glen Crowe on his list.

But Republic of Ireland Under 19 star Kelly could be on his way out having held talks with Lillestrom manager Jan Age Fjortof over the weekend.
