Family escapes injury in petrol bomb attack on Athlone home
05/07/2006 - 11:19:44Gardaí in Co Westmeath are investigating a petrol bomb attack on a family home in Athlone in the early hours of this morning.
Two home-made devices were thrown at the house in the Ashdale estate while a couple and their eight young children were inside.
Nobody was injured, but minor damage was caused to one of the windows of the house.
