'Hoff' denies causing drunken hassle at Wimbledon
Baywatch star David Hasselhoff has denied being booted out of Wimbledon for drunken behaviour.
The 53-year-old actor was pictured being escorted through the tournament's grounds by guards after a day spent enjoying the tennis.
There were reports that the star was "steaming drunk" and clashed with security staff who said he did not have a valid ticket.
But Hasselhoff's publicist said: "David enjoyed a day's tennis with friends at Wimbledon yesterday.
"During the afternoon there was some confusion over accreditation as his party attempted to reach Court 13. The situation was completely resolved with the help of stewards. Reports that claim they were ejected were incorrect."
Hasselhoff visited Wimbledon with actor friend Michael Brandon.
The star had his arm in a sling after severing a tendon with a hotel chandelier in a bizarre bathroom accident.
