Latest poll shows support for Fianna Fáil dropping

The latest Red C opinion poll, published in today's Sunday Business Post, shows popularity for Fianna Fáil has dropped one point to 34% since last months poll.

However, it could have been worse, with the government taking a hammering recently on the statutory rape issue, as well as unrest among backbenchers.

Support for Fine Gael remains unchanged at 26%, and the PDs are also unchanged at 3%, while Labour is down two points to 12% after increasing their share last month.

Sinn Féin jumped one point to 9%, with the Green Party increasing their popularity by one to 7%.

Support for the independents is also up one to 9%.
