Archbishop of Dublin attends world religious leader’s summit
02/07/2006 - 13:58:49The archbishop of Dublin leaves for Moscow this weekend for a summit of world religious leaders.
Dr Diarmuid Martin is part of a delegation appointed by Pope Benedict to represent the Catholic Church at the three-day gathering, which gets underway tomorrow.
More than one hundred religious leaders from all the major faiths will attend.
They are expected to issue a statement to present to the leaders of the G8 countries ahead of their summit in Russia later this month.
