Combs: 'New acts saved Bad Boy'

02/07/2006 - 10:10:59
Sean 'Diddy' Combs credits his two newest acts with saving his record label Bad Boy from the recession currently hitting the music industry.

Combs confesses the company was experiencing a drought until young rappers Cassie and Yung Joc came along.

Now things are better than ever.

He says: "God sent me two new artists, Cassie and Yung Joc.

"I have two records in the Top Ten (Yung Joc's It's Goin' Down and Cassie's Me & U) and on the Rhythmic Chart we have the number 1 and number 2 records with Cassie and Yung Joc. There were times over the last few years, that the industry counted us out and now it's a big week. We are the only boutique label still standing."
