20 missing, feared drowned, in Nepal boat accident
30/06/2006 - 13:22:03An overcrowded boat capsized in east Nepal today, leaving at least 20 people missing and feared drowned.
More than 50 people were on the boat crossing the Koshi river, about 310 miles east of the capital, Kathmandu, when it capsized.
Police officials in the area said they had sent rescuers to the area to search for the missing people.
