ISEQ surges ahead
30/06/2006 - 17:37:06The financials led the charge as the ISEQ index of shares surged ahead 122.20 points to 7516.28.
Anglo Irish was up 51c to €12.16, as Irish Life & Permanent gained 40c to €18.60. Bank of Ireland and AIB made more modest gains, up 29c and 26c to €13.95 and €18.75 respectively.
It was also a good day for construction stocks. CRH was up 44c to €25.59, Kingspan gained 29c to €13.69, while McInerney saw a 24c spike to €11.14.
