Woman dies in crash into Kerry ditch
27/06/2006 - 08:37:12A woman in her early 20s has died after the car she was driving crashed into a ditch on a road in Co Kerry early today.
The accident happened just before 3am at Gortroe, near Fossa, on the Killarney to Killorglin road.
The dead woman, whose name is being withheld until all next of kin are informed, was the sole occupant of the car involved in the crash.
She is the third person to die on the roads in Co Kerry since the weekend, when two motorcyclists died after a collision with a car while returning from a Harley Davidson rally in Killarney.
