Collins: 'My wife ended our marriage'
26/06/2006 - 16:31:01Phil Collins has lashed out at media speculation he ended his third marriage this year, insisting his estranged wife Orianne was the one who decided to split.
The A Groovy Kind of Love hitmaker, 55, and Swiss-born Orianne, 33, announced they were splitting in March after six years of marriage and two children together, Nicholas, four, and Matthew, one.
Collins says: "I'm going through a divorce and I'm not happy about it. It is not really my doing so I am just trying to keep my life going. I've been through a lot of things and I am just trying to keep my head above water."
Orianne adds: "Our interests were not the same any more. Separation was best."
